The YES Oklahoma program provides a pathway that sustains an enhanced representation of Oklahoma American Indian students in biomedical and cancer research by providing: 1) college research and professional development experiences for high school students, 2) research professional development as well as curriculum development experiences for middle and high school teachers and their students, and outreach activities for student families, communities, schools and inter-tribal gatherings.
